Right of withdrawal and its waiver (consumer)

A consumer normally has 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase under the Danish Forbrugeraftalelov. For digital content supplied immediately (not on a physical medium), the law allows that right to be waived. Because the course is made available immediately, the checkout requires you to tick this box before you can complete the purchase:

(Dansk) "Jeg giver samtykke til, at leveringen af kurset påbegyndes med det samme, og jeg anerkender, at jeg dermed mister min 14 dages fortrydelsesret."

(English) "I consent that delivery of the course begins immediately, and I acknowledge that I thereby lose my 14-day right of withdrawal."

Once you have given that consent and access has been provided, your right of withdrawal is lost and no refund is due. If, exceptionally, access has not yet been provided, the 14-day right still applies and you may withdraw using the form in the Annex.

No right of withdrawal (business)

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to business purchases. Purchase of course access by a business is binding, and no refund is given after purchase, except as Section 7 or mandatory law provides.

These terms incorporate the full QualiQ Academy Course Terms of Sale, and govern the purchase of QualiQ Academy online courses through www.ai-qualiq.com and the QualiQ Academy platform (Thinkific). If there is any conflict between this Thinkific version and the full Course Terms of Sale, the full Course Terms of Sale apply, except that the immediate-access and withdrawal-waiver wording above is intended to be shown clearly at the point of account creation and purchase. By completing a purchase you accept them. Sections marked (consumer) apply to a natural person buying outside their trade or profession; sections marked (business) apply to a company or a professional buying for their trade.

2. The course and what it includes

The course is a self-paced online course delivered on the QualiQ Academy platform. The course page states what is included (lectures, automatic tests, certificate of completion, case-study workbooks, templates, and supporting files), the access period, and any prerequisites. Access is personal to the named purchaser unless a team license is bought.

3. Price and VAT

The self-paced course is an electronically supplied service and is subject to Danish VAT at 25%.

• (consumer) Prices shown to consumers include 25% VAT. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, the VAT rate of your country of residence applies at checkout (EU One Stop Shop).
• (business) Prices shown to businesses are stated excluding VAT; 25% Danish VAT is added at checkout where applicable.

The price shown at the time of purchase applies to that purchase. We may change prices prospectively.

4. Formation of the contract

The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel an order for good reason (for example, an evident pricing error), refunding any payment taken.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe at checkout. You warrant that you may use the payment method. Card details are handled by Stripe, not by QualiQ. Business invoicing details are set at checkout.

6. Access and license

On confirmation (and, for the consumer immediate-access case, after the consent above) we grant access to the course for the access period stated on the course page. Course materials are licensed, not sold, for your own personal learning: non-transferable and non-sublicensable, under the QualiQ copyright notice. You may not share account access, redistribute or publish the materials, record or re-host the videos, or use the materials to train an AI system without our written consent. A team license covers the stated number of named users; it may not be shared beyond them.

7. Changes and cancellation by QualiQ

We may update course content to keep it current. If we discontinue a course you have paid for and cannot give you equivalent access, we refund the unused portion. The named instructor is Danilo Quagliotti, PhD; AI tools support production and delivery as described in our AI-tools disclosure.

8. Refunds outside the withdrawal right

Beyond the position in the waivers above, refunds are at our discretion and as described on the course page where offered. Nothing here limits a consumer's mandatory rights under Danish law for a course that is defective or not as described.

9. What the course is and is not

QualiQ Academy courses build audit readiness, evidence discipline, and quality-management skill. They do not guarantee accreditation, certification, or any examination or audit outcome, and they do not represent endorsement by, or approval from, any accreditation body. Generative-AI outputs used in or produced during the course may contain errors; verify them against primary sources before relying on them in professional practice.

10. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them. We may suspend access for breach of these terms, for sharing or redistributing materials, or for conduct that harms other learners.

11. Liability

We are liable for damage we cause by negligence, subject to the limits permitted by Danish law. To the extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for a course is limited to the fee paid for it. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intent, personal injury, or a consumer's mandatory statutory rights.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

Contact us first at [email protected]; we aim to resolve complaints directly. The European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued in 2025 and is not used. A consumer who is not satisfied may complain to the Danish Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg (naevneneshus.dk). For a cross-border purchase within the EU, Forbruger Europa (ECC Denmark) can assist.

13. Governing law

Danish law governs these terms. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the consumer's country of residence are unaffected.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms prospectively; the terms in force at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.
